Pike County CodeRED Alert System
CodeRED is a high speed notification service provided by Emergency Communications Network. Public safety officials across North America have credited CodeRED notifications with saving lives and successfully locating missing children, apprehending fugitives and relaying timely evacuation notices. Pike County officials use this service to send emergency alerts to county residents. Emergency alerts can be delivered to you via phone call, text or email. All Pike County residents are encouraged to sign up so they can receive emergency alerts from the county.

Additionally, you can stay informed of local alerts by downloading the most popular safety notification app - CodeRED Mobile Alert. This free app notifies registered smartphone users of real-time alerts in their geo-targeted area whether they are at home or as they travel through other jurisdictions where CodeRED is utilized. The app can be downloaded at no charge from Google Play and the App Store.
Special Assessment Invoice and Projects
On January 9, 2016 the Board of Directors hosted a Community Information session to discuss, in depth, the three major projects facing the Association and how they could be funded. The three projects are the relocation of the Maintenance Facility, the Shared Well and reconstruction of the Upper Birchwood Lake Dam. On April 1, 2016 Birchwood Lakes members voted to fully self-fund the monies needed to pay for the projects. The first of five annual Special Assessment invoices was processed in May 2016. Details of the projects and the special assessment can be found in the Special Assessment Explanation.
